#26 A Healthy Lifestyle Is A Goal In Itself

Welcome to the Cleanse & Fitness home remedy detox program #26 :-)

Always drink plenty of water (if you can't drink a gallon a day, then stay hydrated to avoid being thirsty)

Please let your friends know about this blog :-)

My day begins:
1) my new liver detox (ph balancer) on an empty stomach first thing when i wake up: in a cup, put 1 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp of organic molasses, 1/2 lemon, 4 sprinkle dashes of powdered cayenne pepper, 1 cup of water (or alkaline water)
2) breakfast: two green drinks (recipes available in previous posts) & a bowl of plain cold oatmeal (like a cold cereal)
3) my snack was yummy. Another green drink. As you can see, I'm gulping that thang :-)
4) Lunch: all organic red leaf lettuce, tomatoe, brocolli, green onions, flax seeds, garlic, chia seeds, apple, carrots, and dress it with a tbsp of extra virgin olive oil & squeezed lemon.
5) snack: carrots & well i couldn't wait, but i ate my apple (all organic), yummy!
6) din din: black beans with some pico de gallo. Then to follow the beans, I had some delish all organice fruit. So good. All organic.
Eating like this has helped not only burn calories, but mainly I am doing it because it has helped me control my auto-immune disease. My system is getting balanced, and it keeps improving. I ate the black beans (whole black beans), so no picture of the black beans, but before i ate my fruit, i took a picture. My organic fruits are/were strawberries, blueberries, plums, mango.
Enjoy!
 7) i did some yoga in my front yard because in front if my yard is a beautiful view of l.a. from a mountain top :-). Sweet lengthening sweat :-)

#10 A Healthy Lifestyle Is A Goal In Itself

Welcome to the Cleanse & Fitness home remedy detox program #10 :-)

Always drink plenty of water (if you can't drink a gallon a day, then stay hydrated to avoid being thirsty)

Today was a fun day.
Went costume shopping with our flamenco mentor Roberto Amaral because he's gonna have me & other performers (dancers, musicians) as guest artists. This flamenco fusion show will take place on August 11th.
I'll let you all know when those tickets are available, ok?

Anyhow, today I woke up in L.A. (Not in Mexico anymore :-()
1) Before breakfast on empty stomach, I drank my liver cleanser which has one teaspoon of pure bicarbonate sodium (make sure the baking soda doesn't have aluminium. It's gotta be pure bicarbonate sodium. Get it at your health food store), one lemon squeezed, 3 to 4 sprinkle dashes of cayenne pepper, in a cup of water, mix all together and drink up. This is so that your PH level is balanced & it's easier for your body to dispel of any toxins that cause you to not lose weight or dispel of any toxins that cause acid in the body and too much acid in the body can cause kidney stones, gout, cancer, arthritic symptoms, indigestion from too much rich foods, poor muscle control diseases, and neurological problems. So take the liver cleanser the second you wake up on an empty stomach, before you eat your healthy breakfast, okay?

2) Breakfast: had my green drink (recipe in previous posts), had two my famous gluten-free pancakes (link of the recipe on my previous post):
(I had me a green drink like this in the early morning, I having another one this evening :-)
Here for lunch had me a home made caesar salad: romain lettuce & kale, with my very own salad dressing (grounded garlic mixed with squeezed lemon juice, a dash of agave syrup, and xtra virgin olive oil), instead of parmesan cheese I used coconut, then I shredded some butternut squash. It was so yummy. You can also add beets to it. It was zesty & garlicky. So good. Here's a picture of it:

Here's this recipe of another yummy, filling salad I had made a while back. Click on this link to see the picture & the recipe: http://instagram.com/p/XsvYYdkJPx/

3) did some power sculpting Pilates for 45 minutes covering all parts of the body, & ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes.
Then had another one of my super green drinks, snacked on some organic hummus with flax seed crackers & green olives. So so good.

And this is how i eat all day. I eat every two hours in small amounts, with healthy snacks in between (no artificial nothing).
All natural, organic. Even when you're out of town on vacation, you can still eat healthy (buy your groceries, make sure you have your nutri-bullet with you if the hotel/lodging place cannot provide you with one, & you'll save money and instead enjoy your excursions (don't forget to always carry natural, fresh snacks in your purse or clip-ontravel waist pouch/bag (none of those power protein bars that have too many artificial colors & flavors).

4) tomorrow I teach a power sculpting Pilates class which I can also use as parr of my fitness regimen, then go running at least 2 to 2.5 miles either outside or at the RoseBowl (remember, I am a personal trainer & Pilates trainer, and can help you reach your goals. #1 A Healthy Lifestyle Is A Goal In Itself

Welcome to the Cleanse & Fitness home remedy detox program #1 :-)

Always drink plenty of water (if you can't drink a gallon a day, then stay hydrated to avoid being thirsty)

Hi ladies & gentz,
Still trying to resolve the news letter thing.. I know many of you received my newsletter and some haven't. For those that haven't, just hold tight. You'll get it soon enough (anyhow, this is the blog that you would have checked into for tips on green drink recipes, detox drink mixes, yummy salads, and fitness ideas - routines - and what not. Anyhow, being in grad school these last two years, it's been tough for me staying in tip top shape. My clients are in great shape, makes me feel great that I can help like that, but I've neglected myself due to school & taking care of others. I've learned my lesson again (you gotta take care of yourself first in order to better take care of others. In my case, what I do for a living).

As you can see, I have taken a picture of me (a before picture. go ahead & take one of yourself & share here so that we all stay motivated ;-), so that I can stay motivated and get in tip top shape. Grad school requirements were done for me (actually this morning will be the last final exam). But last week I started, what I call this program you'll be joining me for, my 'Fitness & Cleanse Program'.
I'll stop talking and lets get started:

Today's exercise routine:
At the rose bowl, plyometrics, core, & other body weight bearing exercises, then run around the rose bowl once (you don't have to do this routine here for today. You can jump rope, run for 30 minutes, dance, grab your weights and get creative. If you have any questions on what routine you'd like designed for you and just hit me up. I'll be glad to give you some tips)

Today's yummies:
My ultimate green drink recipe which I make three times a day (add some fresh organic parsley to that, please. See the picture below for the recipe). I grind this all up in my Nutri-Bullet. In between I drink a lot of water (if you can do a gallon a day, great, if not, just continue staying hydrated through out the day so that you never feel thirsty), I also snack on organic raw veggies like carrots, beets, and I make myself some dark leafy lettuce wraps (the stuffing are chopped grilled asparagus, onion and garlic... yum!!!), and I make sure I have my leafy salad (preferably using a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil and lime/lemon as a dressing). You can drink two more green drinks through out the day if you'd like (and you can get creative with your green drinks. Improvise your recipes. That's what I do. It's fun. Also, first thing when I wake up, I have a glass of water with half organic squeezed lemon, half teaspoon baking soda, and four dash shakes of powdered cayenne pepper (to normalize your alkaline, detox that liver, and boost your metabolism ;-)
Subscribe to my newsletter so that I can let you know about the latest on fitness breakthroughs, fusion exercises I always come up with and are fun, privates & classes in dance/flamenco - pilates - personal training, shows on live performances with live bands and flamenco dinner shows.
